POLL : Favourite Brotherhood Of Man Number One Hit Single.
-Save Your Kisses For Me
-Angelo
-Figaro
Vote for as many as you like.
I've always had a soft spot for this manufactured Eurovision cabaret act. As I've said before, my mum quite liked them too. She bought me "Save Your Kisses" from Woolworths in May 76 but it didn't have a picture sleeve. I have the SACD of their Greatest Hits. So good to hear those classic songs in such great sound quality. Their versions of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and "No Woman No Cry" are so much better than the originals.

That artist doesn't matter all that much because of their lack of chart success. I've researched and it seems though the highest chart position they ever attained was #48 on the Billboard Hot 100 so their presence isn't really felt in the US. If their chart placement were a bit higher then maybe they would be remembered today. Chart chart chart.

It's not the format, it's the mastering.

I wish I could still buy leaded gasoline. How many still eat lead paint chips from their mommy’s basement?

We might get a deluxe edition of Yellow Submarine next year. My sources have mentioned it might come out in various formats. Possibly it will include a 5.1 version of the original album plus outtakes. And so it goes.

By the way, can we start the ‘shipping’ thread now?”

I know because it is impossible for a tape to hold the compression levels of these treble boosted MFSL's like Something/Anything. The metal particulate on the tape would shatter and all you'd hear is distortion if even that.

I was strolling through my home town of Liverpool when my bosom buddy Mark Lewisohn told me.

Of course Wings were a real band! They were the second biggest rock band of the 70s! The only rock band bigger than Wings in the 70s was the Bee Gees! And Paul was the most productive father in the history of rock! All of his kids are really talented, and beautiful! He was so fortunate to be married to Linda too! Anyone who's seen the poster in Band On The Run will agree she has the best tits of the 70s! I had more tugs of love to that poster than my Farrah or Leif Garrett posters combined! And it wasn't just her tits, or her perfect singing or keyboards! She also invented vegetarian sausages and burgers! I've read on more than one occasion that the Linda McCartney Range Of Virtue-Signalling Junk Food outsold McDonalds and Burger King combined!
