"Colin Roy Jacobson, of Alexandria, Virginia, pleaded guilty yesterday to aiding and abetting criminal copyright infringement by distributing a copyrighted work on a computer network. According to the plea agreement, Mr. Jacobson admitted to the following:
Jacobson, a film critic who wrote for the a website called "DVDMG.com" admitted that he sold advance copies of at least 31 movies to a known warez supplier between July 2001 and June 2005. Mr. Jacobson is the second film critic to be convicted of copyright infringement as part of Operation Copycat"
Operation Copycat would be a great handle if I ever need to make a new SHite account.
Actually some people there consider him an animal torturing blowhard who uses the shrugging shoulder emoticon every second post.
So do I but I have viewed other posts where they ask him, “What’s your critical opinion of (movie or TV show)?” Others just ignore him because he seems like a self-absorbed whiny momma’s boy.
I really thought the copyright violation was just a joke on here. I see now that it isn’t. As much as copyrights and residual payments, making sure the artists are paid, etc. are talked about you would think he would be blocked from Hoofyville. Even STeVe should question his involvement on a forum he runs. But since it appears neither has any concern for intellectual property, and have an FBI record, I am sure it’s like brothers from another mother.

That guy sure talks a lot over there (90,000+ posts) and says nothing. Boasts about how many concerts he sees and his massive target and mofi cd collection he has. He claims he is a DVD/Movie critic so that's probably why those shit heads respect him over there.
