Oatsdead says if he dies from the Corona virus at least his legacy is secure with 100,000 poats.

"Invisible Man" is the "Quiet Place" of 2020: a painfully stupid movie where apparently I'm the only one who notices or cares that it's painfully stupid! Good god this guy is an asshole. Even in the rare occasion when he makes a point I agree with ( The Invisible Man sucked) he does it with such an air of smugness that I wanna beat the hell out of him.

Imagine your legacy is you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time than drive 400 miles to see bands you've seen 20 times and posting on internet forums.

Now I'm thinking that if this guy went on date, he'd be thanking his brush(es) with the law. Surely it's going to be the only thing that is going to get him points.

What's more is that they aren't even gigs in the traditional sense of groups of musicians responding to the environment and creating music of the moment. He is not going to see jazz improvisors or Acid Mothers Temple or even Bob Dylan. Colin follows these highly staged and choreographed clockwork lip-synced special effects rallies that are by design completely devoid of spontaneity and the accidental. What is even the point of seeing something like that more than once? It is going to be the exact same thing when it moves over to the next city. What is the appeal for Colin? The *bragging rights*? Jesus, what a jerk.
It’s not like visiting different baseball parks that have unique character or views. Once the lights go down a concert in one arena is no different than another. My favourite story is how Lionel Richie would go from city to city and announce the same dude in his band as being from that particular city. Talk about lame.

Such an apt description for so many music entertainments these days.

Just had a look at that thread, Fuck! Pages and pages of rumination on activities involving being near other people.
Random example:
Both on hold? It's really bloody difficult imagining this lot going anywhere near a gym or on dates at the best of times. That is, unless there is a market for effeminate men whittling on about the floo floo and high risk activities. Which begs the question, if these people can get wives and go on dates, why are some of us single?
Has anyone seen that George Carlin sketch, when he's talking about how boring people are and gives an example of someone on the phone talking about their family?
I imagine something similar but grown men with high pitched voices gaggling around on a never ending corona virus thread, and every so often a yell of 'blow it out your ass!'
