What an incredibly dreamy sexy man. And on a bad hair day, too.

Will STeVE respond and acknowledge that he was incorrect in his assumption? So far all he has done is reopen a threat about George Harrison.

If Hoffman is supposedly such a great mastering engineer why isn't his phone ringing off the table for job offers? His followers over there worship the air he breathes and if he is so great why isn't he mastering music for another label? If he's so audiophile why wouldn't MFSL or another boutique label be interested in his services? They just don’t appreciate the sound of digitally clipped, jitter riddled masters sourced from DAT tapes and compressed with 1-5 layers of tubes. They just don’t have the ears pal

Just googled most valuable guitar in the world and there was absolutely no mention of Mr. Breakdance’s guitar. Not a one.
“I’ve been told”. Fucking asshat.

It was in a press release by, surprisingly, Martin, in a Premier Guitar magazine column. In other words, NO ONE FUCKING TOLD STEVE SHIT! I'm calling hyperbole here. Rodgers is barely known in this day and age of rock and rolls auctions. While it is certainly valuable for it's contributions to music, it's nowhere near as valuable as let's say Jimi's Woodstock guitar or Eddie's FrankenStrat.

Sounds like StEve was duped by a Martin advertisement

Is that the guitar he played Kisses Sweeter Than The Wine on?

Hoffman is such a genius and expert that he cannot even spell "Brakeman" properly. I wonder how much his parents paid to get him into college? Typically, he focuses on how valuable Jimmie Rodgers' guitar must be, which, typically, has fuck all to do with anything at all.
The Father of Country Music JIMMIE RODGERS, have you seen his 1929 short movie? Martin 000-45 guitarThis is my latest "Getting you out of your musical comfort zone" SH Forums offering.
I'm sure some of you have seen this by now but just in case, here is Jimmie Rodgers (The Singing Breakman) in his only filmed performance. He died a few years later.
Love his custom Martin guitar. It is (the first) custom Martin 000-45. A very famous instrument and I'm told the most valuable guitar in the world.

Just ran across this jewel by lifelong sycophant Doug Hess. WARNING: May cause severe abdominal cramps resulting in violent ejection of stomach contents. Read further at your own peril. Doug Hess Jr. There have been many things written about you in many places Steve, by critics trying to make it sound like you think you are the end all, be all in remastering. But that is entirely false and statements like this prove it. The genuine artists and craftsmen acknowledge other people may have a better approach on a project. It's one of the things I admire about you Steve. You are certainly genuine among many other great things.

"I couldn't suck all the midrange out of a copy of an old CD, so I graciously stepped aside and let Kevin remaster the album. Also I remixed the whole thing but you'll never get to hear it. THAT is my go to version."

So according to Steve, he likes Rudy despite his overloaded trumpets, boxy piano and high pitched whine.
Fuck off asshole.
