I had a visit from a bud of mine over the weekend that I hadn't seen for months and months. Good visit, but at one point he mentioned a 50th anniversary Woodstock thing coming up, and I tried to convey "I don't give a flying monkey fuck" in my response, without actually saying it. We changed the topic easily enough.
You really can't go home again, as the saying goes. Not that the original Woodstock was "home" to me, I was seven years old. ffs. But seriously, that event can't be repeated and any/all "anniversary" regurgitations are nothing but a hopeful cash-grab and anyone that can't see that is beyond hope.

That last paragraph are my feelings about it all, in a nutshell. And no, you can't go home again.

I met him at the 1994 Woodstock reunion at Bethel, NY...nice guy, what a great time that was! Got a nice video of Arlo doing "Coming Into Los Angeles"...from backstage. I played at the 1994 25th WOODSTOCK reunion in Bethel with Melanie and Arlo Guthrie...what a friggin blast that was...to play at this...my son was with us and was on stage announcing Happy Birthday Woodstock with the mayor of Bethel and other musicians children...a very special moment for our family! I have some priceless home videos of Woodstock 94 in Bethel and other cool live shows... I have some great video of Arlo, Melanie and others from the 94 Woodstock Bethel reunion...IIRC, there was at least 75,000 people there that weekend... We did the 1994 Woodstock 25th Reunion at Bethel performing with my wife...another memory! I played the the real 94 Woodstock reunion in Bethel on hallowed ground...it was fab! I have hours of video from the 1994 25Th Anniversary show at Bethel the original site...also have a video of Arlo doing Coming Into Los Angeles but, we were back stage so the video is from behind...what's really cool though Arlo turns around at the ending of the song... Arlo is a nice guy...met him at the 1994 Woodstock reunion Concert in Bethel NY...he did a fabulous Comin Into Los Angeles... first met Melanie when I was 16 at a concert at a local College...I then became friends with her down the road...also played the 1994 Woodstock reunion in Bethel just my wife & myself (the full band couldn't make it)...we hung out with Melanie and her hubby the time we spent in Bethel...also became friends with her brother. I played at the 1994 Woodstock reunion at Bethel on the original hallowed ground! special to me for sure. my wife and I played at the Woodstock 1994 25th reunion at Bethal sans full band....75,000+ ppl showed up...it was glorious and a blast from the past...everyone was cool and friendly. Pepsifest sucked and another would suck more...I was at the 94 official reunion at Bethel...it was fun... only 75,000+ ppl showed but it was awesome performing to that size of an audience! great memories... when my wife and I played tat he 1994 Woodstock reunion at Bethel (hallowed ground) a woman just took off her top...It caught me off guard, but I enjoyed it very much! : ) Pepsifest? no, I was at the official 25th WOODSTOCK reunion at Bethel, NY... My Wife and I played at the Woodstock 1994 25th Reunion in Bethal ...it was amazing playing on hallowed ground... it was amazing...and you know what's really cool? 25 years later my wife and I performed at the 1994 25th Woodstock Anniversary on hallowed ground in Bethel NY in front of 75,000+ people. We had a blast...and our little son sang Happy Birthday Woodstock with the Mayor of Bethel and other happy kids on stage...great memories of both... 75,000+ at the Bethel Woodstock Reunion 1994 . My band played...it was awesome ... great weekend it was. not a movie crowd, but it was filmed! LOL...75,000+ ppl at the 1994 Woodstock Reunion at Bethel, New York where my wife and I performed...it was F'n awesome!

Amazing Hallowed Ground. I think that's the name of the coffee shop he gets his internet at.

My Avatar Is A Hot Babe , you certainly have stamina for compiling all that. Now, try to find every time he has name-dropped Jonathan Harris (“a close personal friend”). It would be interesting to see which of his greatest hits he has regurgitated more.

There are many reasons why I wouldn't schlep up there for Woodstock 50 (even if I wasn't already seeing Beck that weekend) but I would love to see Miley perform again. But not nearly enough to deal with any of that noise.

I'm sure he's in here somewhere. I'm hoping this might be him.

I should know, but why is his name spelled with asterisks? Because he's like Beatlegeuse. If you spell his name out in three consecutive posts, he'll show up and tell you about how records suck, he likes shitty music in w-i-d-e-s-t-e-r-e-o, and that him and his wife played at the Woodstock reunion in Bethel NY. Period. Is this M*****l Allman? Gregg's oldest son?
