Will be getting the sack for one loss of temper moment.... please cheer me up.
Music and the forum is helping some.

Take a moment and consider something prescribed by a medical doctor or psychiatrist. It helps me.
PaulWTF:
I would suggest some Anger Management therapy of some kind. You need to learn to control your temper before it gets you in even worse trouble.
alexpop:
Go out get drunk.
Morning after.

I feel most of the posts are missing the point. Losing one's temper one time does not mean drugs or anger management classes are needed. Come on, people... :sigh:
OP, you made a mistake. It happens to us all. We weren't there so no idea if the suspension was justified or if your workplace is blowing it out of proportion. Either way, I'm sure you've learned your lesson and won't be repeating those actions in the future.
Since this was about working conditions, the only way to change something at work, in my experience, is to go through official channels. If you've already done so and got no satisfaction, nothing will change regardless of what is said/done and, IMHO, you'd be best to leave for bigger/better things.
I've done so a few times and always landed on my feet with a better position and higher salary so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Maybe use as motivation to brush off the ol' CV and start sending it out to potential places of employment?

Oh, sure. Getting drunk makes things soooo much clearer. :unhunh:
Andy Smith:
Immerse yourself in a Monty Python box-set. Or watch Madonna's performance at Eurovision. Both immensely funny.
(Avoid booze. Only losers hit the booze when they're down. Be honest with the wife about what you said and did. They always find out.)

Damn, I’m glad everyone is cheering the OP up with their advice about anger management and drinking. What’s next? Suicide hotline phone numbers?
Work sucks.
Work sucks.
Strat-Mangler:
It's a serious topic but an ad for one made me laugh as it was badly phrased. "Thinking of suicide? We can help."
Who thought that was a good idea???

Then there's Dudley Moore's take. He did a great little ditty called "Jump You ******, Jump". I'd post the clip but it has swearing in the title. Go look it up yourselves.
Strat-Mangler:
I don't have a problem with cursing but I'd suggest you delete it.
Andy Smith:
Already done. Worded it better.
Strat-Mangler:
I've also adjusted my quote as I didn't want you to get into 2nd-hand trouble.
Wally Swift:
Hiring and promoting ex-convict scum of the earth and abusing hard working people who aren't politically correct.
atGnr:
:wtf:
Workers who aren't politically 'correct" are the toxic ones.
