Some old cunt saying that he liked classical music and The Carpenters when he was younger but as he'd got older he'd got into Elvis; was this a sign of getting old?!
I could understand him being confused if he'd suddenly become obsessed with Einstürzende Neubauten or The Birthday party, but Elvis is as white bread as his other musical tastes (I'm guessing he wasn't into avant-garde classical music)
