What the actual fuck? Is everyone over there a depraved lunatic?
I mean, maybe use a different user name on your sex forum?

The thread for the new Beach Boys box set has reached the stage of grown men trying to find fault. Today they’re upset about…*checks notes*…live recordings from the 80s and 90s being included. But it’s okay because they’re gonna smoke right through it.

For the record, the Brian Wilson website offers a bunch of demos from the seventies to the noughties, including the first official release of a few great tracks with Andy Paley, which are vastly superior to the performances featured on Imagination or Getting All Over My Head.

That mbrownp1 or whatever is a verified right wing asshole anyway, so fuck him. Though I bet his "girlfriend" was relieved to hear about the Beach Boys' 70s rebound instead of trump and those f*ggot libtards for once.

I've seen that claim a bunch of times, and all I can say is, "Huh?" I like the song well enough but what the fuck dream pop and shoegaze are these maniacs listening to?

The same maniacs that think the Roger Rabbit soundtrack is jazz and Motley Crue "have a punk album".

Everybody knows that the only REAL punk albums are Some Girls and Back to the Egg. Also, "Revolution #9" is weird and not music. Also Pink Floyd guitar solos that were a middle finger to punk despite the fact the song comes from 1974!

He plays a descending chord sequence with a bit of distortion. It's hardly Neat Neat Neat.

The same maniacs that think the Roger Rabbit soundtrack is jazz and Motley Crue "have a punk album". But Motley Crue's first album was recorded quickly and cheaply with crap production because they were broke unknowns with no major label deal at the time. Thus, it must be punk.

This whole “Animals was a response to punk” thing is such horse shit. Also pig, sheep, and dog shit. The notion that the Floyd was sitting in the studio saying “we’ll show these twats” is laughable. Musicians are nowhere near as myopic as most music fans. I’ll give you McCartney pandering with the hopeless Spin It On. He’s knobbish enough to try and cash in.

Definitely seems like a pathetic punk cash in. He should have called it Sit and Spin.
