Renegade SHites on the official Bowie forum are badmouthing the latest Bowie boxset, as well as spreading the Hoofman mantra by asserting the SH.tv is some kind of repository of audiophile excellence, when it is really a suppository of audiophool excrement. Chief ringleader is FallDog. Not sure what his name is at SHiTeland, but it has to be one of the clowns complaining about the Bowie remasters there. community.davidbowie.com/topic/71265-how-poor-is-the-remastering-of-a-new-career-in-a-new-town-1977-%E2%80%93-1982/?page=2To add to the classy behaviour, a posse of SHiTes (which is the closest they'll get to a pussy) headed over to Amazon and dropped around 40 one star reviews on said Bowie remaster. The terrible, unforgivable sin of this remaster? There is a odd volume drop on one track - Heroes - and the bass is a bit intense on "Low". Apparently StevE's minions think they can blackmail Parlophone into reissuing the entire boxset with this behaviour.

The rods up the SHItes' asses have long since sprouted hemorrhoids. "A major fault"? Oh, the humanity! I find it odd that these guys can spend hours/days/lifetimes generating waveforms and DR spectographs but, if it bothers them so much, they cannot spend 30 seconds in a simple audio editor to fix a volume drop. I remember them throwing screaming fits and creating 100 page threads bitching about the sound of the intro to the remastered stereo version of "A Hard Day's Night" — when they could have easily EQ'd it to their liking in less time than it would have taken to create an epic whinefest over it. But then that is Audiofool 101. The point is not to enjoy music. The point is to shout loudly and pointlessly to an indifferent world which could not care less about their anal retentive neuroses. Well, they can't fix the actual CD. But also, who listens to CDs anymore? I still buy 'em but I never actually play 'em. One spin to rip them and then they go on the shelf.

This review has to be a SHIte.
"I hate giving David Bowie only one star, but actually, I am giving him five stars and Tony Visconti’s remastering negative five stars, resulting in a rating of one star for the new “A New Career In A New Town (1977-1982)” 11-CD box set."

Actually the current Bowie CDs on Parlophone are great. Who ever came up with the chicanery that the original RCA discs are better? Did it originate in Shiteland?

And now they are giving in and issuing a replacement CD.
I hope it's a CDR

I'd like Parlophone to send out a replacement CD to all the SHites, with a special deluxe feature: at approximately 2'50" into Heroes the voices of Bowie and Tony Visconti screaming "Fuck you, fuck you all, you basement dwelling inbred douchebags" can be clearly heard. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
