I’m thinking of making a C90 ‘mix tape’ of the very best songs by the Beatles. In chronological order. But where to start? 45 mins per side. One C90 cassette tape only. I have a TDK SA90 ready to rumble... Do I just pick my favourite songs from the ‘Red’ and ‘Blue’ albums and be done with it? But that would leave out some belters... Has anyone done this and, if so, what is your track listing?

Cue 72 pages of arguments over what songs to add.

Paul's greasy ballads on side 1, Ringo's numbers on side 2. He might need to cut back on the greasy ballads to make it fit.

Imagine being too dumb to know what Beatle songs to put on a cassette. Let it sink in. Marinate in the stupid.

Side 1 - nothing
side 2 - nothing
use the cassette to make a Motorhead mixtape instead

Set fire to the cassette. It’s far more entertaining to watch tape burn than to have to go to the trouble of doing something with it like make a fucking mix tape.

Definitely put the US mono reverb drenched version of She's A Woman on side one, and the dry S T E R E O UK mix on side two.

That’s an intriguing idea. However, you’ll have to check with Lukpac first and find out which sources have NARROWED STEREO.
