Just another example of how these morons have zero concept about music or how it’s made.

....or what constitutes an "excellent" album.

......or the fact that Ringo has surely pitched this idea already in a desperate bid to get anyone to pay attention to his solo work, but was turned down by the people that actually own said work.

Just permanently mute Ringo’s “vocals”. Sorted.

If it isn't set at the right time code, the interesting section is at 15:54.

Forget flying-in. The mute button could also give Pepperland another 5 minutes of life support. Yes, Elliottmarx has a stupid idea for what he finds to be an "excellent album," and he's telling the world just how stupid his long hoped for, secret Beatard-derangement project is. Nearly all of the songs on the album have prominent harmony vocals by the songwriters (John, Paul, George.) Sure Ringo does a great job, but it seems quite easy to offer up a remix where Ringo is muted on an occasional verse or chorus which would create a duet effect with the songwriter of that particular song. forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/george-harrison-photograph.1014725/#post-25314423Really hate to be the person to point this out. The album he is talking about has 10 tracks George Harrison – guitar (1, 4), acoustic guitar (3, 8), electric guitar (10), backing vocals (3, 4)John Lennon – piano (1), backing vocals (1)Paul McCartney – "kazoo" vocal solo (5), piano (8), synthesizer (8), backing vocals (8)= 5 tracks, i.e 50% Despite the fact that Beatles are this dipshit's universe, and however irrelevant and feeble his point is, he can't even get his facts right.

John Lennon's harmony vocals were used to make his version of Yoko's Every Man Has A Woman Who Loves Him. It's a novel concept, I'll say that much. At least on that song, he did a harmony vocal for the entire song, something that can't be said for any of those Ringo tracks. And the vocals just don't sound so good in the spotlight, because they weren't intended to be there. Even on Every Man, Yoko's vocals are still used in spots.
The doofus did suggest only muting parts though, to make a duet. And I say, why bother? Why not appreciate the backing vocals or harmony vocals for exactly what they are?
I'd like to hear McCartney singing Six O Clock as much as the next Beatard. If he did a vocal take or a demo, that'd be great. Otherwise, I can enjoy his singing as part of the released version.
