forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/bands-with-the-same-word-repeated-consecutively-in-their-name.1075310OK, this seems pretty easy. Something like "Duran Duran" or "The The" would qualify. How many poats before someone fails to understand? rlj1010 wants to test the bounds on Page 1 Jim B., what does "consecutively" mean? (still on Page 1) Jim B. doesn't let his own fail stop himself from criticizing rlj1010 (yep, still Page 1) mrcond found a clever tribute band I'm more of a The The fan than a The Band fan, so my tribute band will be The The The Band. egebamyasi risks the wrath of Jim B. Someone re-poated Everything Everything and The The, so Jim B. is this thread's policeman despite his Page 1 fail to understand "consecutively". I guess most of these bands don't suit joepepitone's taste. I assume anyone using a baseball player from the 1960s as their nickname probably has very strictly Boomer tastes in music. Recent poats by GLUDFSSR, who also does not know the meaning of the word consecutively. I wonder if Jim B. will correct him? (Nope, another hall monitor named Mike M. already got to it)

Here is where SHites think they are following instructions, but really aren't. A thread about songs that always feel "profound" no matter how many times you've heard it. forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/a-song-that-always-feels-profound-to-you-no-matter-how-often-youve-heard-it.1076093/Literally the first poat is: Literally the second and third poats: Originally poater (Price.pittsburgh) immediately makes two more poats to agree with the Beatles and Lennon choice (personally, Imagine would be my choice in a most overrated song by a notable songwriter thread). Maybe I should have poated this in the Beatards section, as Price.pittsburgh nominates more Fab Four songs (Let It Be, Nowhere Fan, Strawberry Fucking Fields For Fucking Ever) I'm going to persist until I find a non-Boomer era legacy band/artist choice. Towards the end of page 1, it's that guy from Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (no, not Richard Belzer) I was expecting some responses that would belong in the calvacade of cretins & racists thread, but it basically got ignored. Plenty of Dylan songs, etc. I'm going to throw myself off a cliff if someone nominates "We Didn't Start The Fire". zbarbera is risking the wrath of Spencer A page 3 effort from the original poater. Imagine I just poated the Picard facepalm meme. Fischman and Tony Kaye (replying to Fischman's poat) aren't Imagine fans, either. Not sure if Price.pittsburgh has seen this yet as he's probably too busy jamming to Mike & The Mechanics.

If you spout this nonsense it really means you have no idea what the fuck he was getting at. Such a simplistic approach. I mean, the song is boring but I get the message. These fuckers just don't.

I'm at the point where I find the "a millionaire says imagine no possessions! WTF!" complaint more boring than the song itself. Even their complaints are tired and hackneyed.

From the same thread, either John Beasley does not know the meaning of the word "profound" or just wanted to make sure everyone knows that he hates Queen, who I don't think had even been mentioned in the thread prior to this.

Does he actually think that Freddie Mercury went by the name Queen? Lots of laughs!

So many examples of these music experts asking what instrument is this? It’s a bass. Is this the same guy that didn’t realize that what he thought was “faulty” vinyl was actually the sound of a hi hat?
