forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/what-album-year-best-rivals-or-tops-1966-for-a-top-3.1058237/I'm not talking personal tastes so much, but in terms of the general popularity/legacy. Particularly late 60s/early 70s there's years with a lot more depth in terms of really strong albums on that score but talking in terms of a top 3. carlwm Personally, I'd go with:1976: REO Speedwagon - Cow Album Frogmorton - At Last Kansas - Leftoverture 1978: REO Speedwagon- Tuna Fish Styx - Pieces Of Eight Fairport Convention- Tipplers Tales 1984: REO Speedwagon - Wheels Are Turnin' Dan Fogelberg - Windows & Walls 38 Special - Tour de Force

I will forever curse these jackoffs for making me wonder if I'd missed something about Dan Fogelberg all my life, which then caused Amazon Music to recommend similarly hideous soft rock for weeks. What the fuck.

I would think a quick Google image search would have done the trick.

I would think the name "Dan Fogelberg" would be proof enough. The name "Frogmorton" certainly is.

Hold up. You actually wondered if you'd missed something about Dan Fogelberg? Yes, in the early days before I knew better, I'd see people saying how he was this underrated genius who played 1000 instruments and I'd think, "The 'Longer' guy?" I later learned that all the people saying this were rejects like rjp.

I had a similar experience with Hoofy's masterings.

Different premise, same result. AntonKKK asks what people move onto when they get bored of classic rock (he calls it ‘incredibly boring’ which is fighting talk), and the answers are mostly...classic rock.

Were people walking around in 2001 saying, "I like modern rock like Tears for Fears?"

Were people walking around in 2001 saying, "I like modern rock like Tears for Fears?" I think there are some people who still think music from 1984 is modern.

Harp music. Recommendations? We all know Alice Coltrane, Dorothy Ashby and Joanna Newsom. <---First fucking sentence of OP.

Reading for comprehension isn't among the SHiTEs strong points.

Songs where the title is mentioned ONCE, as the final lyric
Hoffy answers with: Not going to read this thread (or the older one) but SECOND HAND NEWS by Fleetwood Mac.
Actual lyrics: I'm just second hand news I'm just second hand news, yeah I'm just second hand news I'm just second hand news, yeah I'm just second hand news I'm just second hand news, yeah I'm just second hand news I'm just second hand news, yeah Yeah
