Amazon has a surprisingly huge inventory of sex toys and sex accessories. Why do I know this? I was, oh, I was doing research for an article. Yes, that will do nicely.

^can confirm.
I worked at Amazon in December 2015 for a few weeks, it was a madhouse. Dildos, gold glitter body paint, and Adele CDs were the most popular items that Xmas.

SHiTe hat on: ordered some outer sleeves for my records and they were delivered without a box or envelope, just the shipping label slapped on it. I picked it up off the porch and discovered it was torn open and most of the sleeves were damaged, like they fell out and were shoved back in. So I called customer service to ask about a replacement. Outside of taking a few moments to find a place to request a call they called me immediately. I explained the situation and within 3 minutes a replacement order was placed and on its way.
While I understand that getting an item without a box or envelope isn’t ideal can someone please tell me why these Hoffmanites have so many issues with Amazon and it’s customer service? I know it’s because they expect the most for giving the least amount of effort or kindness. Still just explaining the situation and problem was solved. These people like to make jokes about people in mommy’s basement but these bastards (and bastettes) are just pathetic. Rant over, observation closed - SHite hat off.

I try to keep my SHiTE sheathed as best I can, Suze. Seems that frisky rascal is always getting me into trouble.

A bit of background first:
Rhino released a blu-ray Monkees TV series set back in 2016.
The company sold out of its stock in 2019, so the set has subsequently become a high-priced eBay commodity.
Last month, Rhino must have come across a cache of unsold copies, as they began offering them once again.
However, it now looks like they oversold what they had and this development has the SHites running around in meltdown mode.
The Monkees blu-ray thread is now full of poats bemoaning cancelled orders, unchanged tracking info, etc. etc. etc.
If you’re in the mood for some sensible chuckles, check it out.

From what I understand, they never sold out of the 10,000 copies they made back in 2016, they just misplaced the various parts of the packaging when Rhino changed warehouses. Their manager/archivist Andrew Sandoval posted this awhile back: ""Only a few thousand of these sets were released to the public via Rhino mail order and on tour. People always ask me when they will be available again and I will tell you the absolute truth: I do not know and I am kinda doubting with the world in lockdown it will happen at all. I have asked Rhino and they say they can no longer find the unassembled parts for these." They were selling them on Micky Dolenz's recent tour, so I guess they found them.

Yeah, I had known about the “lost” parts, and sets recently turning up on the merchandise tables at the Micky Dolenz shows. But, from what I’ve gathered, Rhino might have oversold the sets they had rediscovered, which is causing all sorts of SHite angst right now. While it does suck for those folks who now seem to be S.O.L., after reading pages of asinine “mine has shipped!” poats, it’s hard for me to work up much sympathy. (“Mine has shipped” poats are about as useful as those so-called reaction videos at YouTube… Honestly, who the fuck cares?)

Once the SHites get their hands on this who will be the 1st to say
It doesn't sound like the original!
It sounds too sterile. I'll stick with my original.
The surround sound is terrible. I could have done a better 5.1 mix on my laptop.
Why didn't they let Steve Wilson do it?
It's too compressed. They sucked all the life out of it. Where's the midrange? They should have had Steve master it.
Several different complaints about the vinyl manufacturing. Off center, warped, noisy, IGD, cheap cover, etc. etc.
Such a missed opportunity. What were they thinking?
The Blu ray doesn't play in my player. It keeps freezing up.
Where's my replacement disc? Who do I contact?
We waited 4 years for this.
Where's the marbles?

I remember listening to that album once, like 15-20 years ago. I remember nothing about it and have never had any interest in revisiting it.
