I did once dream I was at an Emerson Lake and Palmer concert. It was in a park with no stage at all. E & L were playing cheap red Kingston guitars on Silvertone amps, Palmer had a cheap red pawn shop drum set and they were playing surf instrumentals.

This reminds of some time in 2009, between the announcement and release of the remasters, when a remaster supposedly leaked. Someone was so excited at the clarity and the difference! The actual thing they were listening to? Hello Goodbye from Anthology 2, which definitely sounds "different!" |
