My idea of art would be for you to die of a massive fucking heart attack and impale you onto a fucking flag pole

I chuckle at the idea that Scott considers his shitty music to be "art".

I think Camp X-Ray could have done with Father Time's music.

I made it 36 seconds. That's 36 seconds I'll never get back, and I could have been doing literally anything else and it would have been better.

I think I've figured out- Scott's not really a musician or songwriter at all, more like an "outsider artist". It would certainly explain why his "music" is so fucking bad. He's like some no talent asshole randomly splattering paint all over a canvas and saying, "See? I'm the next Jackson Pollock!"

I'd cut anyone, no matter how untalented, who keeps plugging along for decades some slack usually, but he is really a consummate asshole.

Has anyone else noticed that almost everything he uploads gets wiped from the internet almost six months later?

It suddenly dawned on me who Scott sings like: Jan Berry after he lost half of his brain. If you've ever watched that goofy 70s Jan and Dean TV movie biopic that is on You Tube, there is a scene where post-accident Jan attempts to record a tune in the studio. He can't sing anymore (because half of his brain is gone), and, realizing he sounds like the retard he has become, gives up in in frustration. Well, TV Jan's retard voice sounds exactly like Scott. Heh! I remember watching that when I was a kid, laughing my ass off at that exact scene.

Coincidentally, FT also has more than a bit in common with Jan Terri

The summer of 2014 was peak Father Time, erm, time. Those of you from the old place with long memories might remember I was in hospital for a long stretch that summer, connected up to various machines with only my laptop and headphones for company much of the time. I spent one afternoon reading the Father Time thread, listening to the audio clips.
It was Soul Pinata which caused the nurses concern. I was crying with so much laughter, the monitor I was wired up to went haywire. They threatened to confiscate my laptop.
I remember my poat began with the words, "you glorious, glorious bastards."
I'm much better now, by the way. Pity his music isn't.

Has FT's creepy obsession with Melissa Benoist ever been discussed here?

I don't want to think about Scoot getting aroused by anyone who I may see on a screen or talked about in modern pop culture.
