Yeah, I just saw he's posting in that sexism in the music business thread.
Good catch. He is now "Thunder and Lightning" (a common white supremacist motif, used in slogans and symbols).
The asswipes are rallying in force on that thread today.. Here is his lecture on sexism (enjoy choking down that little bit of throw up that comes up in your mouth):
"Good question! Also this is huuge theme to discuss. It goes outside music world as well. All about music sociology and humanity is my field. That's what I like to explore.
To start with simple things. First of all, RnR is always considered as man music, not woman music. Why is that is subject for itself which we can discuss. Second thing is, when man play, people listen, when woman play people watch. It is hard to explain and not to sound like a man chauvinist, but when I did my little experiment on this subject in RnR and ask men something like: "if girl on stage is ugly, would you listen to her?" Or, I asked, "why did you bought this album?" Men respond "cos it's good looking woman on cover". You know?
So, basicly, to most of the men, woman brain is not interesting, woman body is interesting. Man mostly don't consider that woman are on same intelectual level as them (which is chauvinism) so woman have only body.
I think this is first part why and what you asked. Why man are like that? Well, that's humanity question. My feeling is that woman are more materialistic, reason for this is they are potentional mothers, so they must be because of kids. So, all brain work from woman is important for humanity but it is different. Man brain can be materialistic, but it's more spiritual, more phylosophy, more art, more politics, more ideology...
One example: How many woman in 1969 realy believed in hippy movement? For most of them it was just fun. But there were man who realy saw that as ideology, including movements like White Panther which were brotherhood with Black Panther. Uk counter culture etc.... they saw it realy serious.
Man are more that, politics, spiritual, arts. Woman are more money, economics, materialistic. That's why men have feeling that woman are shalow in mind. But without that most of them (man) wouldn't exist, they never think about that.
So, men by instict (this is now psychology) see/feel that woman when playing music is not full in it, emotion maybe, intelect no, loyalty to RnR until death no...etc.. they are in to have fun and earn money, but man (some) are in it to realy try to change world or influence people. To "die" for music if you know what I mean. For woman, that's just fun in most of the situations. For some man music is ALL, more important even from children! Men are more in it, more honest, more ideology concept, more fanatical. Woman are not (mostly). You can find some rare examples as always, but mostly is like that.
Second part was, RnR was all about *ussy not only politics. I mean, you remember movie Back To The Future and dance? Bands started first (before late 60s with politics in it) to entertain and man played guitar to get woman. Remember Beatles and screaming woman crowd? Can you imagine opposite?
So, question is: What do you have to offer to man without your body? Without body, you need to be very intelectual and fun to be interesting to men.
Somehow, because man and woman are different, I came to conclusion that in most of the situations, woman brain is not interesting to men much. In most of the time. Because they are different. Equaly important for humanity, but pretty much different. So, you must offer something what is interesting to them. If you don't have body, than offer mind, but mind must be interesting to men.
Did Lemmy on stage offered body to audience? No. But he obviously offered something else. There are realy rare woman to do that. Enya, Aretha Franklin, Piaf, Tina Turner, even Madonna?, Donna Summer?, Abba? and few more. Ok, these are not RnR.
Also RnR is more testosteron sound. You know how brainwash start from when you were little, girls must be gentle, listen easy music, talk nice and calm etc..... Man can drink beer, shout etc..... All these programed behaviors influence music as well.
So, it's not that easy to answer."
Here is an easy answer:
