The inclusion of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" on a greatest hits package like this looks like, uh, someone -- ahem -- was just trying too hard to be contrary and to defy conventional wisdom. I think the same person is most likely the one responsible for including the dreadful "Angela" on the 2-CD "Gimme Some Truth" Lennon compilation. I wonder if it's the same person who is adamant that the public will buy JohnandYoko merchandise, not John Lennon stuff. I imagine its inclusion is an acknowledgment that the Lennon estate trustees still need to be appeased.

If we don't ever get a "Rubber Soul" SDE, then it is probably because Sean Ono Lennon thinks that "Run For Your Life" is almost as problematic a song to sell (again) as "Woman Is The n****r Of The World" is in today's woke culture/climate...

What is this world coming to when we can’t buy freshly remixed songs that repeat racial slurs or celebrate murdering a woman for dating someone else?
