No excuse for an off-centered record, none. How about excuses for errors from sound engineers and those who remasturbate someone else’s creations? Clicking sounds on expensive CDs anyone?

No excuse for being tolerant of racists, nazis, and misogynists on your own vanity forum (even if they are the only ones who donate).

Damn STRAIGHT! Tell 'em, STEVE! In the world of High End audio, there is NO FUCKING ROOM for amateurs. We are paying PREMIUM bucks for a PREMIUM product, right? Damn right, STEVE! I mean, just look at the bar you have set over the past-...what? Uh oh. Huh? You mean on a MONO recording one channel is LOUDER than the other? Oh, come on. No way. Sly Stone certainly doesn't deserve shoddy work like that, right STEVE? So, getting back to policing the work done on premium products we- What? You're joking. Oh, come on. Another channel imbalance, this time in stereo? On Blood, Sweat & Tears? Whoops. Oh my. How the fuck did that happen? Well, at least this time we have STEVE on deck to clarify an obvious error with someone's system. You go, STEVE! There it is. See? Fill out your equipment profile, bucko. Thanks, STEVE!

And less than three years after Stevie’s petulant poat, Audio Fidelity was history – as was Daddy’s “career”.
(At least Stephen Marsh must be relieved that he no longer needs to breathe in the old-man stink emanating from Hoffman’s nasty blue t-shirt.)

Yep, there you go. No one here has ever considered poor Marsh's perspective in being saddled with that prick. Of course, I'm sure he didn't offer his services/studio for free (or gratis, as the upscale sophisticates say).

A pedant writes: it's impossible to press a record off-centre. Everything is physically locked into place. Records go off-centre during the cooling process. What this has to do with "pressman sloppiness" is beyond me.
