Maybe this is what ended the relationship?

Maybe this is what ended the relationship? That guy has never told that “story” at a party or even been to a party.

That guy needs help. Seriously. The symptoms he's displaying are compulsive buying disorder symptoms.

Not to mention the more obvious symptoms of SHite assoholism disorder. A well adjusted SHitE won't be their livelihood and their families in danger, if his obsession with purchasing has got to the point he's moved to buying mp3s so his wife can't track his spending on music, he has far far bigger issues than being a SHite

If he's streaming something, why is he buying it later? Can't he just continue to stream it? I still buy records, but I love Spotify. If I had Spotify when I was a kid I'd have been more worthless than I was, because whatever I want to listen to whenever I want? I'd have thought I was in heaven.

If I had Spotify when I was a kid I'd have been more worthless than I was, because whatever I want to listen to whenever I want? I'd have thought I was in heaven. I was thinking about this recently. I'm just old enough to remember a time where you simply could not hear a song unless you had the CD/vinyl/tape/whatever the fuck, or caught it on the radio. And then I personally never did limewire or napster, so the next "phase" was hoping that something had samples on Amazon to at least get a taste. Now there's a huge catalog on streaming services and whatever can't be found there can usually be found somewhere without too much difficulty. This is all amazing and I try not to take it for granted.
But enough about that. Wives, am i right?

I remember that shortly after I got married (1986) that I came home from work and was chatting with the wife. She said she had listened to some Beatles....we did not have any cd's yet. So that means she played an ALBUM. I looked thru them all...and said I bet you were listening to (insert Beatle LP)...and she said "Yes...how did you know?" I then showed her she had the sleeve in wrong...AND there were FINGERPRINTS all over both sides! The horror! Of course a crash course in how to properly handle lp's ensued and I probably slept on the couch that night.
