Prince? Oh, yeah. Great guy. GREAT guy. I mean, if you don't count the toxic relationships and treatment of people. Yeah, I'd let him watch my kids.

That quora page is messed up. Lance manages to answer every conceivable question about Brian Wilson/the Beach Boys. It's Chappy-level obsession. Surprised he hasn't started a Vegetable: Brian Wilson song by song thread.

Back during Internet 1.0, this was called Street Teaming.

Another tedious, mind-numbing slog through every note the band ever recorded. I checked out of his REM one before they even finished dissecting Chronic Town. Dude has way too much time on his hands.

I’m surprised he didn’t call it Seagulls Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her: The XTC Song By Song Thread.

He even posted it on the fucking Hepa Hepa Filter Long Dong thread. The hilariously idiotic thing about that is that he's supposedly such a huge fan that he starts a song-by-song thread for a dude with eleventy gazillion records and spells the song he names the whole thing after wrong. It's "Wey-Wey-Hep-Uh-Hole". [/hitchcocktard off]

From the XTC thread he started:
what the fuck? I have never heard Partridge mention Yes other than to make fun of Rick Wakeman at the start of the This Is Pop documentary. From what I have read he was into the British psychedelia as well as the Dolls and Stooges.
Is this guy on fucking crack?

I don't know about Andy Partridge, but Dave Gregory was (is?) a member of UK prog band Big Big Train, very much like a Yes or Genesis type band. They're pretty awful.

XTC, in their own way, became as dull and tedious as prog rock by the time of English Settlement. Okay, so it's not just me then.

For me, English Settlement was the last great XTC album. It's no coincidence that it was the last full album with Terry Chambers.
