Forced holidaysI am rather annoyed that all stores are closed on Thanksgiving now. It didn't used to be that way. Well, some were open for a few hours this morning but why is everyone forced into observing holidays that they have no interest in? And don't give me any sad stories about employees wanting to be with family. Plenty of people would be willing to work these "special" days. Spoken like someone who has never been forced to work on a Thanksgiving (or insert holiday here) and missed special times away from family. I had a job for 5 years where I always worked on Thanksgiving. Anyone who worked that day got a free catered Thanksgiving dinner right there in the company cafeteria. And it was top quality food. Servings could have been bigger of course... Went to get an emission test done today at the dealership and was told the two guys who do the tests are off today (presumably so they can be with their families for a long weekend). Unacceptable! Thanksgiving should just be moved to Friday like what was done with so many other holidays.

This sums up Hoofyville in a nutshell: “if I don’t like it no one else should, either.” Maybe he would have family if he wasn’t such a miserable dick?

I've got five Schrute bucks that says Fagoberto voted for trump. Something tells me...
Of course, I'm surprised he didn't virtue signal anything about "the troops don't get to spend their holidays with family, either".
Let's keep an eye on this prick. I bet he's the gift that keeps on giving. Things didn't go HIS way, so it's "unacceptable!". Poor, inconvenienced asshole. Die in a fire.

The biggest aspect of conservative SHiTEdom is the explosive anger whenever anyone threatens the power and authority they have as consumers.

The biggest aspect of conservative SHiTEdom is the explosive anger whenever anyone threatens the power and authority they have as consumers. I think the underlying sense of entitlement underpins a LOT of the distasteful behaviors over there, and the absolute and utter lack of self awareness exhibited in this delightful post is merely one of scores of ways this manifests itself. You know, for months now I’ve thought that no one is capable of stepping up and restoring the proper level of cynical joylessness to Shitville following Carl Swanson’s departure (though Dillydumbass and a few others have tried hard to fill the void), but this fellow may be just the right guy!

Rigoberto is a real ray of sunshine whenever he joins a conversation. He can become the new forum curmudgeon since Myke seems to have taken a step back since the election.

Forum member Action Packed sends well-wishes on Thanksgiving: “We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night, and I hope you did as well.
My daughter and I worked together to prepare a tasty vegan feast, which was enjoyed with a nice bottle of red California wine. Fortunately, the sole omnivore in the house (my wife) doesn't particularly like turkey meat, and she was a good sport about it.
Compared to years past, I feel like my family has more reasons than usual to be thankful this year. We are all fully employed, COVID hasn't caused any permanent damage, and there is optimism that next year will bring positive changes on a national and international level. Let's all raise a glass to better days ahead.”
Rigoberto, an omnivore, knows just what to say: “I probably could have eaten that after losing my sense of taste due to the COVID-19, but I've recovered, so not now.”

The virus can't do anything right by the looks of things
