rock4ev is giving me flashbacks.
You decide:
I use a phone for it being a phone, not a computer or a telegraph or as instant mail letter corresponding.
Yes text has it's positive purposes, though conversations is not one of them for me.
People talk into a phone to have it translated to text and converse that way.
I am ok with waiting for a conversation to discuss any topic/topics.
I can't stand being in the company of a person texting back an forth with someone, I don't ask and it's none of my business, that is like 2 people talking in a foreign language in your presence, I've told more than a few call em or text them your busy and will get back to them, cuz if you do that in my place, I say leave, there's the door.
It's only been people disrespectful of my asking or a person lacking common sense, and female or male, I've kicked em out of my house. Lol.
The shocked look on their faces is great, and maybe I helped them learn a lesson in respect, so I actually help them, at least I tried.
And don't get me started on music industry people telling me how to do my art/writing/look of choosing, ect... I used to warn them (back in Hollywood days/living) your welcome to stay just don't talk "the business" (you all know Ronnie's lyric in the Skynard song, and I used that one too more than a few times) your in my place it's mine and my band's, friends of, and fans after party (I just used the don't talk business line or will ask you to leave), and I had to kick em out.
I am a personable being, I'm not an a hole, in fact very much the opposite, though if I ask a person politely something and they don't heed, and in many cases asking more than once. At that point it's disrespectful or insulting, and it doesn't matter who the person is, that includes employers.
I don't accept disrespect or insults period.
Apologies are accepted and respected, they go a long way.
Cheers
