Someone's trying to sell Carmen Electra's CD for $15 plus shipping in the Hoofy Marketplace. That sounds like a lot if it's going to sound LIFELESS.

A lot of new vinyl releases are made from digital masters.

- reliably identify between Redbook or hi-res (of any flavor)
- reliably identify between lossless digital and MPEG-4 256 VBR (most embarrassing of all)

Please fill out your equipment profile if you wish to comment on comparative sound quality. Thank you. Poat reported to Gorfs.

Your power cable clearly isn't resolving enough.

A lot of new vinyl releases are made from digital masters. These idiots can’t tell a triangle from a tuba, never mind digital/analog.

I feel like this may just be too simplistic, but in situations like this, I ask myself:
"Does it sound good?"
If yes, I enjoy the music. If not, oh well.
I just can't figure out why this needs to be so difficult.
