They're high on confirmation bias and sunk cost fallacy. Wasn't it Jamie Tate on YouTube who untwisted some coat hangers and used them to connect his speakers? Anyway, as I recall there was no discernible difference in fidelity with wire. Deep thoughts. It was some other guy (forgot his name but he had the Nikola Tesla avatar) but that thread was awesome - it was a 50/50 vote on which audio sample was from using coat hangers and which was using high-end cables. In other words, no one could tell the difference. Of course, those with vested interests complained and got the thread sent to the cornfield.

I wonder if this is the same SHite who once lamented that Acid Mothers Temple recordings didn't sound like a Steely Dan production. Another Shite recently complained about the new Jack White “sounding compressed”. Having listened to it twice, it’s a typical Jack White production: tape saturated drums and dirty as fuck guitars. Did he expect it to sound like George Benson?

That's one of the goofiest things about that place. They listen only to rock records and ancient AM radio fodder, then complain it's "compressed."

Imagine going through life buying music because you like the artist who created it and not because some guy who could care less about you carved his initials into a metal plate before making the record.

Their consumers love high-fidelity audio, yet these dolts can't even be bothered to take the time to engineer the awful plosives and accidental pops out of his lavalier mic feed? Sounds like complete shit. I guess it's not a high priority to practice competent audio engineering if your entire customer base is practically deaf.

I was in a record shop once and according to the staff someone brought back a Lee 'Scratch' Perry LP because of all the funny noises over it. Wonder if that true.
