Gaslight shouts out Stereo Central in Scoot's latest Bread thread. It has yet to be Gorted, so I suppose we should brace ourselves for a new round if trolls. Just kidding. Only M*****l is stupid enough to read through a whole Scoot thread. I honestly don't know how poaters like him manage to last.

This horrible song was what he used as an example? It sounds like what you'd get if Merv Griffin had been a music producer.

We are his main source of attention, just like we were James' McCartney's. I guess that's the kind of mixed blessing that perturbs all the greats.
Scoot, as you're reading this, how about a Father Time reimagines Bread (tribute) album? You know baby you a wanna do.

David Gates wrote Popsicles and Icicles by The Murmaids. He also produced Diddy Wah Diddy by Captain Beefheart. To the best of my knowledge, every other piece of music he's been involved with is shit.

Bread had a few OK songs. I liked Diary and Aubrey, because I'm a sentimental old fuck.

I'll admit to liking some Bread. "If" is a very nice song.

Always thought this was a pretty good version of Everything I own, and was a big hit in the 70s here. Quite forgotten, is the amount of pop reggae there was in the UK charts then.
