Similar Band Names That Cause ConfusionFuck me - these SHites must really need help to manage everyday life. How difficult can it be to differentiate a name with just one word in common. BOBC says "Ryan Adams & Bryan Adams? There's no confusion for me, but I bet some people may have ended up at the wrong gig." - Fuck off you French Bastard Miriam contributes "The Monks and The Monkees" - I'm sure that's the only reason the Monkees sold so many records - or vice versa. Musicfan 37 adds "Not a band, but when I think of Beck, it's Jeff Beck." - Well you would wouldn't you. Andrew J - "Steely Dan & Steelye Span - Yip happens all the fucking time - can you not cope with words that rhyme you twatting retard. Miriam's on a roll - "The Four Tops and The Box Tops" - see above and fuck off Ten pages on and they're still at it ... ModernDayWarrior chips in with "Rush, Lush, Bush" - Stop getting confused by rhymes you thick pieces of shit

I don't think I have ever confused band names in my life. The closest I can think of was way back in the Limewire days when I downloaded an mp3 called "Tortoise - Ry Cooder". I thought it was an unusually inventive and ambitious Ry Cooder instrumental, with vibes and everything. Took me 6 months to figure out that Tortoise was the band and "Ry Cooder" was the song.
Oh, and I guess I would never know the two Searchers bands apart (both spinoffs of the original band), but that is unlikely to ever be in issue in this life.

Doesn't take much to confuse these fucking mental midgets.
The only bands that ever confused me were Firehouse and Firehose, or something like that. It was spelled funny..... but I don't care enough to look it up.

I get confused between Todd Rundgren and Kate Bush. Kate's bush is bigger, but not by much.

True story: As a freshman in high school I bought a cassette by The Cramps when I meant to check out The Kinks after The Jam covered "David Watts". I was dumb as all hell, but it was a fortuitous mistake.

Shit, I thought antiram was back at first.
True story: I knew a guy who confused Them and The The. Two bands separated by continents, decades, and aesthetic. Maybe it's because they were right next to each other on his alphabetically organized shelves.

The The was British. Them was Northern Irish. There were separated by a sea, not an ocean. Please fill your equipment profile.
