Like flies around shit: Thread turds that get worse

This is for stupid thread topics laid like a turd on a hot pavement, only for it to be smeared about a bit and making the area a lot smellier.
Here is an example (note the shity-ness of the title, 'musicians trapped', the barely competently constructed intro of 'so...' and how the OP then keeps telling people off for not making sense of their stupid intro).

Musician you love "trapped" in a band you hate?
WTF? So you are basically just want an excuse to say you hate something

So we recently bought a new car that has a much better sound system than our previous car had. As I was setting it up, an Evanescence song came on.
I hadn't heard anything from that band in years, but I was absolutely transfixed by Amy Lee's voice -- it just soared from the speakers. It's (IMO) an exquisite, emotive, powerful, bell-clear marvel, simply extraordinary.
Unfortunately, it seems as through she's forever mired in that revolving door of mouth-breathing devil beards known as Evanescence, whose county-fair level, quasi-Christian nu metal white trash butt rock makes my skin crawl. Can't stand them.
From my perspective, she has everything she needs to have a really successful solo career, and with the right producers and songwriters, I think she has the potential to do something amazing. But alas, aside from the occasional soundtrack song or cover for a tribute album, she seems as though she'll forever be stuck with those derp rock dopes.
Anyone else feel similarly about a musician?

I don't feel passionate about it, there's many very talented musicians in bands I don't even slightly like, but if they're playing music I dislike I couldn't care less about them.
LeftCoastGator
Er... what?
Man at C&A
I thought it was straightforward but perhaps not! I'm just saying that if someone is playing music I dislike I don't care for them, no matter how talented they are.

Ugh, don't get me started on Kiedis. I know he and Flea are childhood friends and soulmates, so he's never going anywhere, but it might be interesting if the Chili Peppers had a, um, "side project" that was the three musicians minus Kiedis and plus literally anyone else.
My favorite take on Kiedis came from a comedian who had a bit about the RHCP: "The first time I saw them, I thought it was some kind of adult Make-A-Wish scenario, because you have these three amazing musicians just jamming out, and then suddenly this grown man in a diaper runs on stage screaming 'Yabba-dabba-dabba-doo-now!'"

Wow, a lot of hate for large groups of people in this post.
Music Geek
A bit like when you talk about hip hop
Wild Horse
No, that would be hating a genre of music.
I was going to post Rage Against the Machine, but, then I remembered I dislike everyone in that band.
