Are The Grammys Still Relevant?Never relevant. These dinks had a chance to do their “let’s make things right by handing out an award to an artist that has been screwed for six decades” thing and they gave best rock song to Boy Genius instead of the Stones (who should rack up album noms and awards for Hackney Diamonds next year but by then these out of touch voters will probably have short-term memory’d the record from their collective consciousness). I guarantee that if Mick and/or Keith would have appeared at the show last night, they would have won. This stuff is a total sham. This is how things are done. Speaking of, that Boy Genius song is incredibly alt-adult “rock” forgettable while “Angry” has been living in my head rent-free since September. My wife and I watched last night and we both agreed that nobody will remember the majority of the winning songs ten years from now. Please eliminate the metal category altogether. It’s offensive to people who enjoy the genre. Tenacious D won a Grammy for a Ronnie James Dio cover a few years ago, and Mr. Ghost was nominated for an Iron Maiden cover this year. Tenacious D has won as many Grammys as Dio and Iron Maiden combined. Only bigger joke in the music industry is the Rock Hall. George Michael getting Album of the Year several years ago proved to me that the Grammys were a joke. That was 35 years ago! And completely deserved!

The Grammys are not about music; that's just a ruse. It's about utilizing puppet artists to socially engineer the masses to accept narratives. There's a reason that they don't get the ratings numbers that they used to.
