It's pretty predictable. That's a common strategy from right wingers to focus on beloved non-conformist figures and connect them with CP or child molestation.

They did almost the same thing to James Gunn, Dan Harmon or Patton Oswalt a few years ago. Focus about a few extremely regrettable things from their past, take the entire context out (for instance, for Oswalt, they simply quoted isolated tweets that looked like an horrible statement, while it was just the first part of a two-parter), and ask for cancellation.
If they succeed to cancel the target (as it happened briefly with James Gunn), they will say that there are many more people like that in "Hollyweird" and that the swamp must be drained. If they fail, that's because you're an hypocrite and you're doing nothing to protect children.

The indignation has always been very selective. You can notice for instance that the Epstein speculation is huge on Bill Clinton, while there are at least as many photographs or reports that connect Epstein with Trump. But for Trump it would be TDS, witch hunt, etc.
