Wow never would predicted the Dylan thing from the Sound of Music singer (!)

Sorry to hear about this. She is one of my Mom’s favorite singers. In fact, I clearly remember Mom referring to “the great Mary Martin” frequently when I was quite young, and that has stayed with me some 60+ years. As a youngster, I was more of a Julie Andrews guy, but enjoyed Ms. Martin as well. R.I.P., and thanks for all the music.

Not the same Mary Martin as the singer who passed away 30+ years ago.

First I’ve heard of that and frankly I thought we’d already lost her.
Julie Andrews is up there in age, too.

Please read the article. This is not Mary Martin from The Sound of Music - she died in 1990.
