The Party's Over, this one does hurt.

Yep, this one hurts indeed. The last two TT albums and the solo record are stunning.

Don't get me wrong, those early albums (especially The Party's Over) are great, but they were gearing up to stuff that will have a special place in my heart.

A nice guy named "patient_ot" gave me a free sealed copy of Laughing Stock on CeeDee over at Hoofy's 5 years ago just to see if I'd like it! Very good album.

Odd, this one genuinely hits me too. I won't be shaking and crying, but still Hollis made some life changing music.

Apparently Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) has died. This is one that genuinely “hurts”. I’m pretty sure there’s a few other TT fans here. What an incredible talent he was. Agreed, really bad news. One of the very few artists I consider unparalleled.

I only know them for 'Life's What You Make It' and 'It's My Life' -- what are some later tracks I should check out?

Shit news. I know it’s cool to like the later stuff but It’s My Life is my honest favorite.

I can't pick any songs out, both albums are great in their entirety. Maybe this belongs in the Do we even like music thread?
