I had a great pair of Wireworld phono cables...the Silver Eclipes 7 Tonearm cables. They are some excellent sounding cables. Well my Cartride is the Denon Dl-S1 which is a very low output cart with some weird numbers. Running her at 500 ohm with the gain at 70db through an excellent Creek OBH 15 Mk2 phono amp which rivals my Musical Surrounding Phonema II+ , only the Creek has higher gain. Well because the cart is so low, and the high gain, every now and then I'd hear noise in one of the channels. Called WW and they were puzzled about the noise.....they figured it was defective. Asked me to send it back to them and they would send me the best Tonearm cable they make that's even more silent and I should not hear anything...so they made me a pair of Wireworld Platinum Tonearm cables....all I can say is DAM! DAM! DAM! These are the best Tonearm cables I've ever heard! They are ultra transparent! Ultra quiet! ultra smooth! These are solid OCC Silver. Has all the body, and nothing is harsh...cymbal taps and drum rim shots are as real as can be. Bass is tight and well defined....You can hear every part of the recording prefect, and I've only been listening for a good 45 minutes, so these puppy's aren't even run in yet! Because I don't have DIN connections on my TT they made a pair with RCA connections which cost a little bit more than the DIN connections which start at $1400 per meter. It's almost like the cables took the performance of what I'm hearing up a few notches. You guys with cartridges at $1000 or better, may be missing out on what that cart can really do if you dick around with cables that aren't as much as your cart. I thought I was fine with my $750 tone arm cables, but these are even better. ( I know, I've lost my ever love mind....the wife tells me that all the time and she's right!) Bravo Wireworld for such excellent customer service and such an excellent product!

Well have about 60 hours on these cables now and I am amazed at what I'm hearing. They are sounding much better from the first posting. These are solid core silver cables with the Wireworld technology that really works! The sound is so natural and pure sounding! Just when you think it has topped out, it changes again and sounds even better! The soundstage is wide and deep. Excellent spacing around and between the instruments. You can hear into the sound stage back to front with ease. And if its a live performance you have that "you are there" feel. If there is a sound being recorded you can hear it perfectly. You can follow any of the musicians as they play...if you want to follow the bass line or any part of the performance, you can with ease. Each instrument sound real in its own space. There is simply no cymbal congestion on any record I've played. I am really surprised at the bass notes...you can easily tell what kind of bass is used...acoustic or electric....in one song it sounded as of the bass player was using a Rickenbacker bass...those of you who now bass guitars know what I'm talking about, they have that sort of growl to the sound. I have simply never heard a sound that's so natural and real like I'm hearing now in my system. If you sat and listened to what I'm hearing, and didn't know what Turntable I was using, and I asked you to guess what it was...a Music Hall 7.1 would be last from your mind. This thing is sounding really good!
The Wireworld Platinum Eclipse 7 Tonearm cables are that good, fellas! They're pricy...and the Wireworld web store list them at $1380 per 1 meter. I know that's a lot of loot for cables. But some of you guys have some table that are really audiophile quality with some nice cartridges alone that start at $1000. So if any one is in the market for upgrades or if you just need cables to match your high dollar TT and cart.... These cables really put your vinyl rig and the performance into about 2 levels up...no joke! These cables are worth every penny. Go out and read the reviews and see whats being said. You might have to save for them, or if you see a used pair for sell, snatch them with the quickness! I know I sound like I work for them, but I don't. Just expressing the real deal on these cables. Oh..by the way...they can be ordered with DIN connectors or RCA to RCA as well. You wont be disappointed in what you at hearing. Youd be saying "DAM"!
