More nonsense from Hoofer.
Painful reading but STeVe's father was in WWII. After the war STeVe's father wanted to keep his gun but did not know how to do this (as thick as his son).
Hoofer Senior told (name drop time) the Sheriff of Los Angeles County - Peter J. Pitchess about missing his lovely army gun.
Then in 1963 (as dad told me a million years later) the sheriff not only finds the same type of gun for Hoofer snr. but a very, very clean (minty?) one.
Hoofer senior gives Hoofer jnr the gun some time before his death in 2008. Hoofer was surprised and told Daddy Hoofer this.
STeVe then says "I'm not a gun nut, I am a history nut" (no you're just a fucking nut).
STeVe keeps the gun safe and has showed it to no one until yesterday when a friend (not famous so no name), a gun collector, (Steve did not know this) told him about (capitals time) HIS dad and the Korean War and how his dad missed his M1911.
At that point STeVe opens his gun safe (Why have you a gun safe if you are not a gun nut - are you making this up Steve?) and shows the friend "his piece".
On seeing Hoofer's "piece" his "buddy's eyes bulged out and he stammered a response" that led STeVe to believe that this was a nicely preserved specimen.
(but what about the gun STeVe?)
Anyway after more pointless rambling and hyperbole STeVe comes to the point
"My question. My friend was very excited to see a little marking on the left side of the gun. The marking is this: "W. B.
So, is this true, experts? That's my simple question.."
Unlike any normal person STeVe does not go to a militaria expert to get his piece valued but asks a bunch of retard SHites instead.
Are you just showing off and telling everyone that you not only have a gun but a minty WWII gun in a leather holster?
Fuck off SteVe
Any vintage WWII Colt .45 M1911-A1 experts here. A question for you...
