OK, who here wrote this? They’re now asking themselves if they even like music anymore. “ robbieplatter robbieplatter Well-Known Member Thread Starter New Hi everyone, Thought I would check in with y'all to see if we were still into music these days... I don't know, I feel like the artists I've loved in the past don't really do it for me as much anymore. I'm not really excited by the new releases either by older artists or by new artists that comes out. I'm also really fatigued by years of being on the consumer end of endless reissue campaigns and format changes. I used to keep up with all of it, but now I'm realizing that I don't even think I like pop music anymore. I put on an album I loved when I was 20 and now I'm like, "eh"...
Would rather listen to the birds or the wind or stare at the wall.I spent so much of my life collecting physical media that I don't know what to do with, and also 'collecting' knowledge about all my favorite bands and artists. Useless facts clutter my mind, and for what? Artist fandom is such an asymmetrical relationship. And for what? The joy doesn't seem to be there anymore. Then it's like, why are we still paying all this money for pop music releases when a) it can be streamed for free and b) it's not even very good? I can't even pay my medical bills. In any case, all the best songs have been written and all the best records have been recorded... and they're still not really that amazing... Anyone else experiencing this sort of thing? Thanks!” forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/still-into-music-in-2020.930756/

That dude just sounds depressed. I feel bad for him. Maybe he should hire a hooker.

And none of that 50/50 mix, that stuff is for pussies and squares. Get a bottle of HEET and slam it.

This quote of his made me laugh. Instead of just calling 911 himself he called his sister? Maybe he was just waiting to hit the RIP poat button if his mom kicked the bucket? BradOlson:

I think out of all the SHiTes he is the least threatening and probably a good person overall, he just likes to beat off looking at Amy Grant while singing “Baby, Baby.”

BradOlson: I mean, there's a heart attack, and then there's a HEART ATTACK. If she was well enough to get into a car and be driven, the only thing an ambulance would have brought to the table would be a nice big bill. They very well could not have known it was a heart attack until after she was admitted.

Ladies and gentlemen, you forget his unrelenting support for white supremacists. What were the details of that? (I had only really remembered the old PBS profile on him.)
