Can you please explain to me how Jimi Hendrix's fan base is growing while the Beatles is diminishing? It's purely exponential math. For Jimi, "6 turns out to be 9". So for every 6 old fans, 9 new ones appear. But for the Beatles, "one and one and one is three", which is simply linear. And if one of those fans fails to procreate, then the fan base ultimately diminishes.

That's not only unfunny, it's genuinely disturbing.

A 100 minute edited version of the film (edited by Peter Jackson himself) will be premiered for a limited viewers on 25th November in Tokyo for only one time. TOKYO FM meets The Beatles:Get BackMy understanding of the Japanese language is a little rusty. But if I translated properly, it looks like the 100-minute edited version of the film will include 90 minutes of the Beatles rehearsing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and 10 minutes of Yoko and George arguing over digestive biscuits.

Overheard… Final runtime: 8 hours, 13 minutes The Peter Jackson film is still 6 hours long. But in the middle of each of the 3 segments, there will be a 45-minute advertisement spot where Paul will be hawking bundles of his new LYRICS book and leftover copies of McCartney III ... So we all know that MLH tried to tape them without them knowing e.g flowerpot mic etc. What I didn't know till this video, was that John and George knew that was his agenda and whenever they thought he was secretly taping them, they'd start playing the guitars really loudly so their conversations couldn't be heard over the racket. Fast forward 52 years and Peter Jackson has the technology to 'strip away the guitar' as he says, and we can hear that 'secret' convo. lol! This is going to be very interesting! Just wait until the technology reveals what they were secretly saying in the background when Mal was banging that anvil during "Maxwell's Silver Hammer": George: "Here we go again. Uhhhh." John: "Freakin' granny songs. So this is what it's come too." Ringo: "I'd rather be playing chess". From some BTS editing footage, seems text captions will be used to give context. And captions also will indicate the name of the exact type of digestive biscuit that is eaten as seen in the clip, for example. I am so excited for next week!!! This fellow isn't too excited though: Muldoon’s editing ensures that it’s also quote-worthy: “Writing a song is like talking to a psychiatrist”, “The vignette is really my stock in trade”, “It’s not so much that I compose songs, they arrive”." Here, though, are the full quotes BEFORE Muldoon edited them: “Writing a song is like talking to a psychiatrist. And after reading some of my lyrics, I needed to see an actual psychiatrist.” “The vignette is really my stock in trade. The rest of my stuff belongs in the dustbin.” “It’s not so much that I compose songs --- but when you smoke as much English Tea as I have, they arrive.”

The cloying, smiling, winking emoticon that concludes each of Arnold Grove's "jokes" is always the icing on the cake. It's the thing that makes me want to smash his face in a second time. Only twice? He needs a sledgehammer to both knees at a minimum.
