Catch it before it's pulled. James Slattery asks:
Some idiot responds:

Maybe that Roland prick will show up and shun anyone who doesn't wear a suit every day.

Why can't it be like 1965 when angry men with crewcuts beat the shit out of their sons and every SHite felt warm and secure?

How come all the cops in 1965 looked like Rod Steiger?

“Proliferates” it? Seriously? My greatest fear now is that the wildfires, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters won’t come soon or frequent enough to rid the earth of these moron Amerikkkans.

Damn. Can't even go to a Rocky movie anymore without getting aurally assaulted by (c)rap "music." Guess I'll just stay home and enjoy watching the first 6 movies from the comfort of my (whites only) home theatre.
On a different note:
I've never sat down and watched the Rocky movies. Never ever saw one from start to finish. But I've always been aware of 'em. My grandfather, no longer with us now, would watch them whenever they were on. I know all the basics about the movies. Recently, during the night shift, some channel was playing all five original movies. I had the surreal experience of coming in at random moments of a different installment at every break. Rocky himself seemed to get more and more unintelligible each time.
Still, there's a certain charm about the movies, at least the earlier ones, and now the Creed films look like a rare example of a well executed sequel/revival (and a time when movie theaters, TV, and streaming services are full of necrophiliac drivel.) Atta boy, Rock.

Rocky was catharsis for white audiences traumatized by uppity Muhammad Ali.
