Cancel culture takes another scalp. If it can be proven that you've ever said anything that might offend anyone, you're not allowed to have a job. Better go the Oscars route now, and go hostless. Or find a robot host. A particular movement has had a lot of shady things coming out about it in recent months. That almost sounds like secret spy code. I don't know what you mean. My guess is a lot of the Redditors and Tweeters were among those out there trying to dig up anything they could on Richards since he was announced. If they spend any time googling Levar Burton, it'll only be to warn him he has something he needs to delete. Wasn't the podcast he made the stupid remarks on 7, 8 years ago?! I think it's ridiculous, why couldn't his apology stand... they should stand up against cancel culture! Very disappointed. I have watched this show as a youth with my Mom and Art Fleming was host in the 60s on NBC. Then when my Mom used to baby sit my oldest son, they watched Alex Trebek together starting when he was 3 years old in the late 80s. This show has had a long legacy in my family from the 60s until present day. No, I do not expect the Pope or the Dalai Lama to step up to Alex's podium but I do expect someone with a bit more character and respect for others to do so. Also, I do like a little hot sauce every now and then but not on my apple pie or cake. There's a time and place for everything. This program was one of my Mother's favorite shows before she came down with dementia and eventually passed away. Sony Pictures did right on this issue. As if you have never sinned. Even Martin Luther King Jr was a serial adulterer. I grew up in a "Hollywood" family and spent 35+ years working in the industry myself. I've met and worked with some real characters, I can assure you (and infamous ones). There was only one person I worked with in all those years who I'd describe as ungracious, smug, unforgivably rude, and utter lacking in basic people skills: Mayim Bialik. I pray she does not get the job. I'm a regular viewer of the show. Bill When Mayim Bialik was named as as the host of a future prime time edition, internet trolls found an old interview in which she said her young children wouldn't be getting a vaccine then. While this was said several years ago and had nothing to do with covid, you can imagine the "outrage" on the 2021 edition of social media hell.

Just make Mike Lindell the host of Jeopardy. It would be good for humor values for a couple of days, as Lindell won't accept anything but "What is Donald Trump is the true president?" as a correct response.

All I know is Jeopardy has one hell of a press agent. Fucking every minutiae of that show is breathless headlines.

Spy Car can fuck off and keep fucking off until he can't fuck off anymore.
I hate when people like that generalize actors or musicians. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she got some bad news. Maybe she didn't like being so close to cockstain such as him. It's amazing...so many of these fuckers claim to be so worried about Jeopardy, yet is shows they never watch it because they're so fucking stupid.

It turns out to be a whole lot of nothing, the line was never in the movie at all.

It turns out to be a whole lot of nothing, the line was never in the movie at all. Yep. But it might have been in the trailer.

Here’s another thread just brimming with the usual cast of far-right douchebags SHF has become (in)famous for: forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/sledge-hammer-80s-tv-show.1109341/can people enjoy something from long days past when the world was spinning normally without a NEGATIVE? please...geez. it just never ends...can you imagine there were times when people had FUN and took satire for what it was? NO! You must be judgmental and joyless. Get with the times. --Capt. Facetious Dan Indeed...well put my friend...; ) Also loved the show as a kid, and haven’t seen it in years. What was his catchphrase - something like “Trust me, I know what I’m doing”? Great show that due to the sad PC-obsessed climate we're experiencing, no way would be greenlit today.
