Could you imagine even asking him something seemingly benign, like what does he want for dinner?

What’s (not) funny is that was almost the entirety of the thread posted above. It wasn’t like the prick has to go through dozens of pages or anything to see it was mentioned, it was the third fucking post.

Some shite posts a link to a Gabriel interview.
First paragraph before article starts:
In 2011, over a decade before Peter Gabriel announced his 10th solo album i/o, he discussed his criticisms of the genre and his own approach to success – which ignored concepts of luck and elitism and embraced the notion of hard work and experimentation.

As the Stoner Rock thread nears 17 years old we are still getting answers like Government Mule, Hawkwind, Leaf Hound and Cactus on the last page. Scattered among the pages are countless posts trying to explain that Stoner Rock is a genre and not just rock that sounds cool when you're stoned bro to no avail.

Is Freedom Rock a genre, or something I groove to when I want to feel free?

I remember it being a cheesy 80's commercial for a 60's rock comp.

It wasn’t like the prick has to go through dozens of pages or anything to see it was mentioned, it was the third fucking post. That place has people openly posting things like In other words, I don't care about anyone else, but as long as I get to talk that's all that matters.

Does anybody not have a SACD player but still buy SACDs?
"I have a Marantz SA10 SACD Player and I LOVE it. An extravagant purchase but I retired and wanted to treat myself. I have a large and ever growing SACD collection of over 800 discs. I love the format, there are of course a few that aren't so good but the vast majority are a major step up from red book CDs. Today I received a copy of Spyro Gyra's "The Deep End" and it sounds terrific. Last month my purchases included the Vocalion releases of classic albums by The O'Jays, The Isley Brothers and Henry Mancini. I have bought all of the recent Eagles releases and the Steely Dan discs too. I have a very wide all encompassing taste in music- Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Soundtrack, Classical. There are some good deals to be had if you take the time to search around. A few boutique audiophile labels are releasing some excellent material that is worth investigating, discovering some terrific "unsung" artists. SACD deserves more love and appreciation. When the "CD revival" kicks in I hope that labels will see SACD as a lucrative luxury audiophile niche product worth investing in- similar to UHQR vinyl."

Brainded boomer 4-2-7 posting a bunch of lame modern blues, the fucking Rolling Stones, and Johnny Cash ‘Hurt’ in a thread about contemporary pop music.
