40 "They" send me stuff. "They" being any one of a myriad of electronics companies, such as Apple, Audio Note, phono cartridges, speaker cable manufacturers, etc. These statements are designed to suggest that STEVE is such a mover and shaker in the biz, he gets all this swag "gratis" (Hoffmanism) to possibly publicly review and endorse. Of course, to no one's surprise, these reviews don't exist. The whole premise is horseshit. No company in their right mind is going to send some has-been never-was free anything.
41 The autographed Dylan album. "My old stereo LP has something that no other has, Dylan's autograph on the back. He wouldn't sign anything for anybody but I showed him what I wanted him to sign and when he saw it, his face lit up (rare for him) and he signed his name (right over his liner notes on the back)." Scores of people waiting for an autograph, but only STEVE gets one. Right.
42 Meeting Lennon and McCartney at the airport. "When I was in Junior High School, a friend of my parents (who was a guidance counselor at my school) was coming back on a flight from England. We were meeting her at LAX to give her a ride home. She had sat next to John and Paul on the flight over and they were still chummily talking as they were getting off the plane and going through customs. She came out first and told us to wait a minute. Wow. John and Paul. I felt the blood rush from my head at that minute. They gave her a big hug, shook my hand, said a few words to us and that was pretty much it.
I never bothered to tell either John or Paul in later years about this. Why would they care?"*
*Number 42 is actually a two-fer. Not only did the young lad meet the two Beatles, he refrained from mentioning the fact to them in later conversations. Implying, of course, that subsequent meetings indeed took place.
Hoffman is truly a pathetic cunt.

43. I can stop taking them anytime I want to. I only use occasionally. The kids don’t know what’s going on, so it’s okay. I’m not hurting anyone. I’m still employed, so my drug use isn’t so bad. What? Oh, yeah, right. My bad.

44) Steve 'saw' some mythical Shadows 3-track multis that had been flown over from Abbey Road for a US LP. In fact they had been flown from out of his ass because they don't exist (Abbey Rd never used 3-track) and Steve is a liar. 45) Steve's famous visit to Abbey Rd where he hung out and chewed the fat with George Martin. In fact Steve had actually only visited the Abbey Rd that exists in his ass. It's a place he spends a lot of time in. 46) Steve 'left' his gig co-mastering Music Matters Blue Note LPs. He was actually booted because all he wanted to do was turn the treble down and hang out in his ass with George Martin and Kim Fowley.

54 The 1959 Teac reel to reel that was pinched from the late Warren Jarrett's audio salon (you know who you are, dude) was on loan from STeVE.
55 For legal reasons, STeVE can't comment on the Beatles remasters.

56) Steve used a dollar bin stock cd to master the Audio Fidelity S&G Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme disc. Not the master tape. 57) Steve made manly love with Tiny Tim in broad daylight on the corner of Hollywood and Argyle...
..wait, he might have actually done this?
