If you post that Dictators song at SH.tv a certain subclass of SHites will insist that Bruce Springsteen is on there doing the count-in after the guitar solo, even though it sounds just like Manitoba; it's like the proto-punk version of "Who sang the aaaahs ...?"

<Y'know, I've always wanted to hear Springsteen sing "Next Big Thing" for an encore. Especially the verse beginning "We knocked 'em dead in Dallas!" which i think is one of the greatest verses in the history of either rock or roll.>

"Was the Elvis movie - That's The Way It is his answer to the Beatles Movie Let it Be??" forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/was-the-elvis-movie-thats-the-way-it-is-his-answer-to-the-beatles-movie-let-it-be.871442/Do they really think Elvis was pacing the floors of his Vegas fuck pad, boiling with rage that The Beatles had conquered the silver screen, vowing revenge between cheeseburgers? Or was it more that he was dragged from his chemical stupor for a couple of hours a night to make money for Col. Tom Parker and some cameras captured the process of him churning out some substandard factory line recordings before half-heartedly boning a cocktail waitress and going back to eat more burgers?

Is that the Vegas concert film where a stoned to the gills Elvis gives up halfway through a song, sits down at a table near the stage and smokes a cigarette while glaring ruefully at the crowd the entire time? His band doesn't know what the hell to do, so they keep vamping endlessly on the same riff until Elvis finishes his smoke and decides to climb back onstage. (I'm not making that up. That's a real segment.) Nah. This one is post 68 comeback Elvis when he’s in shape and engaged. That’s what makes the Let It Be comparison even more nonsensical. If you would ever want to watch Elvis in Vegas and not be amazed at how the mighty had fallen, this is the one to watch.

I haven't put on a Beatles LP in at least 30 years, and consider all of their solo stuff shit. I avoid all Beatle threads on Daddy's site. And here I am, reading this nonsense. You guys are funny. When I'm ready to get banned again over there, I'm starting a thread: Whose shit would you rather eat, McCartney or Hoffman?

Hoffman's for a rage-fuelled sleep.

Ass Mangler: I love how with all the geniuses over there, with all the supposed Beatles experts, no one has corrected this asshole? Stu didn’t fucking die when Paul took over the bass. He left the band. He died later!
Fucking Beatles experts.
