I'm perfectly fine with everyone in the anti-mask brigade dying a slow, painful death. I just wish they couldn't spread it to those of us who would rather stay alive.

Who the fuck recommended disposable masks? We're supposed to be using cloth masks, dickhole. Well, to be fair, these are primarily what NYC is giving out. (I did manage to score some of the cloth masks they gave out for the first day or so, plus I bought some.)
Anyway, I'm gonna go be compliant and not get sick or infect anyone else.

My question is why did it take almost 4 months for masks to become a thing? Things are opening up here, so of course the numbers are going up. Everyone with their fucking patios and parties.

The key here is that some businesses and houses of worship have been allowed to open while other similar entities have been forcibly closed. And, this has been done, absent of due process under the law. "However, the government-mandated total closure of movie theatres is neither fair nor reasonable, and is instead a violation of Plaintiffs’ First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, Equal Protection of the laws, Due Process under the law, and is a Taking of property without just compensation." The government is not a totalitarian dictatorship and may not deprive individuals of their constitutional rights without due process. This is what the governor of New Jersey has done and has been doing. "Defendants have a legal obligation to promulgate orders that treat like entities in a like manner, and not to create arbitrary or irrational distinctions, particularly where First Amendment rights are at stake," states the complaint. " These are serious and far reaching issues involving clearly unlawful actions to limit individual freedoms by the government. Movie theaters must be allowed to open.

I thought they wanted all those Hollyweird left-wing librul actors and actresses to shut up and go away? Now they're pissy because theaters are shut down? What the fuck is it with these clown shoes?

If they can’t go to the movies, they can’t complain about how they’re ruining everything by putting all these women and coloreds in the movies.

I'm leaving the dysfunctional, psychopathic and inept buffoon of a "President" aside for a moment. Asshats like the SHiTE above are the unfortunate accurate forecast that, before this is all over, there will be hitherto unknown pain, sorrow and death sweeping the US of A. These morons are solely fixated on their own self interests, all camouflaged as their god-given 'murican Constitutional right. Fuck everybody else. I want to go to a movie. I want to party hardy. Mask? Infringement on my 'murican right to do whatever the fuck I want. Unless there is some hard and fast basic change in attitude, I really fear C 19 is going to get very, very ugly in the US. It may make the horrendous numbers of today look like a picnic in the park. I just hope I'm wrong.

More deaths means more chance that I can get my DCC Holy Grails whilst perusing all those garage sales.

Covid 19 is not be be taken lightly--especially if you are dealing with the sick, the elderly and the vulnerable. But can we dispense the idea--media driven because the media offers no context-that 100 young people testing positive means 100 people are going to die. This is simply not the case and has never been the case. Hard data is hard to come by because there is politics and $$$$$ involved, but over 99% of people who become infected survive. Further, how do we know this story is true? Exactly 100? How nice and neat.

I'll never understand this "yeah, but most survive". Most men survive a kick in the nuts. Does that mean I want one???

Plus there are not 100 young people seeing Smash Mouth at a motorcycle rally in 2020.
