Alf didn't abandon John, he got drafted into the Navy as it was WWII. Supposedly Alf sent John several/many letters but Mimi threw them away, without even telling John about them, because, ahem, she thought they would hurt his feelings :rolleyes:... yeah, right. (1) Mimi never liked Alf (2) Mimi wanted John all to herself Conniving b*tch if you ask me... fvcked John up more than he had to be. I can’t imagine getting this twisted about musicians’ personal lives.
